American Slicing Machine Co 'American Eagle'

The beautiful American Eagle hand cranked meat slicer was manufactured by the American Slicing Machine Company in Chicago Illinois during the early 1920s. This mid-west company produced several other slicers and some electric models, but the American Eagle was their flag ship slicer of the time. To bring the American Eagle back to life we had it sent to Italy so our artisan partners could perform a complete tear down and restoration. The slicer was completely stripped, repainted, hand pinstriped and polished. Period specific nickel plating was used on all the bright work and any badging was hand polished. The American Eagle features a 14" blade which an handle an entire Prosciutto leg, has 22 individual thickness settings and smooth hand cranked operation.
